As a UCSB worker you have a number of safety-related rights, responsibilities and resources that, by law, you need to be made aware of. The short online training module (~15 min.) which follows, attempts to convey this information. It is based on worker safety regulations of the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal-OSHA).

graduate students, post-docs, undergraduates working in research labs and visiting researchers do NOT need to take an online
Safety Responsibilities module, IF INSTEAD they have taken the EH&S live Lab Safety Class, or the online Lab Safety Orientation.
