Description of Program
The Automated External Defibrillator [AED] Program was implemented with the intention of making early defibrillation immediately available during cardiac emergencies. While Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an important link in the survival process of Sudden Cardiac Arrest [SCA], defibrillation is the only definitive treatment for ventricular fibrillation, the rhythm that most often causes SCA.Contacts
