Container Return Policy

EH&S is only able to return containers to the user if they contain waste that we are able to consolidate into larger drums with other laboratories’ waste. Otherwise, please collect your waste in a container you do not need returned.

We can return your containers if they contained, ONLY:

   • Organic Solvents (e.g. hexane, acetone, ethanol, isopropanol, toluene…)

OR

   • Mineral Acids, Dilute (e.g. <.5% of phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid)
