Use of Pyrophoric Gas on Campus

Pyrophorics are materials that will spontaneously ignite upon exposure to air. Clearly these are extremely hazardous materials and must be handled with great care. The pyrophoric gases are of most concern, because of their ability to spread into a large volume and then ignite or explode. Examples of pyrophoric gases are:
