Industrial Safety is a multi-disciplinary approach to developing and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, safe working practices, and maintaining the health and well-being of those employed in a particular occupation or workplace. Strategies to accomplish these goals maintain a strong focus on injury prevention through hazard identification, prevention and controls; education and training; audits and inspections; engineering modifications, and enforcement. This program helps promote a safe and healthful work environment for the campus community through the provision of the program elements and services listed below.
