Once a lab is issued a DEA Registration, they must notify the CSPA by completing and submitting a UCSB Controlled Substances Project Registration Form.
In order to purchase, access or otherwise handle controlled substances on campus an individual must first become an authorized user. This is achieved by completing a screening form and satisfying the training requirement. Both the screening form and the training status must be refreshed every three years.
