Wilderness First Aid?
The Field Research Safety program sponsors a Wilderness First Aid Field Services Course (24 hours training).
The course is provided by the Wilderness Medical Associates. It is an extended version of the regular 16 hours Wilderness First Aid class and it is unique in a sense that it is customized to your specific needs. The course is recommended for field trip leaders and/or graduate research students.

Additional wilderness medicine courses are offered by the UCSB Recreational Center for a nominal fee.
